It was our second day at Vista Venice in Bataan. This time, we went to their affiliate beaches, Westnuk and La Salle.
We rode a van going to La Salle, which took us around ten to 15 minutes. The entrance cost was around P200/person. We got there around 10:00am. Lucky for us, there weren’t a lot of people in the beach - just groups of people doing their team building activities.
We tried boating, while my friend Lexie and Kriz, decided to try kayaking. I wanted to try kayaking, but it seems quite tricky due to some balancing requirements. I have no problem with balancing, my concern was falling and sinking. I have a life vest, but still *shivers*..
After La Salle, we had another road trip - this time, to Westnuk Beach. It was a 15 to 20-minute ride away from La Salle. We had to go inside the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (do not worry, it is not in use, and currently disabled) in order to get there.
I felt like we went to our private Boracay! No one was there when we got there. The sand was white and the breeze was really nice. They also have a place available for those who would like to stay the night.
We could not resist staying for a while and marveling at the view. Everyone flocks to Boracay during summer, but if you’re more of a beach bummer, I would suggest trying other beaches like the ones we went to, in Bataan and Cebu. I cannot wait for summer! A few more escapades before I go to work.
